On the bench a nice Tissot from 1956.
I start with the end result this time
The watch bumped against a corner of a table, and fell on the ground. Result was a broken crystal, bend hands, lost half of the lume of the hands and a non running watch. Some pics of the stripping of the movement
And here the cause of the watch stopping: A bend second pivot. Another watchmaker tried to straighten it before me, as the metal is black from heating it up.
Second pic is the same pivot, straightend. Next to it a hair from my eyebrow, top give an impression of the size of the pivot. After this the cleaning was straightforward. I replaced the mainspring, and the endresult you can see on top of the page
